This 28-year-old female patient had had two children, and while pregnant, she had gained a significant amount of weight. She later lost the weight, and in turn, this significant weight loss resulted in a decrease in the overall volume of her breasts.
This is a common story among women who’ve had children and/or have experienced significant weight loss. Fortunately, breast augmentation can help women get their pre-baby breasts back.
After speaking with the patient, we learned that she desired an increase in breast size of one to two cups. Ultimately, we chose to go with a gel/silicone Mentor implant in a size 450 cc with a high profile. The patient underwent submuscular breast augmentation surgery to achieve her results.
